基本薄壁组织的细胞 无色,横切面呈圆球或多角状,长与宽的差异不明显,几乎等径, 胞具生活的原生质体,是营性的生活细胞。在植物体中,基本薄壁 组织起填充的作用,因而也称其为填充薄壁组织。同化薄壁组织同 化薄壁组织因与光合作用关系密切而得名,多存在于植物体表的易 受光部位。其特点是细胞含有叶绿体,能进行光合作用,所以又称 绿色薄壁组织(chlorenchyma)。例如植物叶上、下表皮之间的 叶肉中都含有叶绿体,尤其是靠近上表皮的栅栏组织细胞中,叶绿 体更多。叶绿体也存在于皮层中或茎的较部甚至髓部。在植物幼嫩 的部位如绿色的茎、枝条和果实的外部也常具一些同化薄壁组织。 在个别具退化叶的植物(如、天冬)的茎中,其表皮下有数层含叶 绿体的薄壁组织细胞代替叶子的同化薄壁组织细胞,常出现明显的 液泡化并形成高度的腔室结构,从而有利于进行气体交换。贮藏薄 壁组织贮藏薄壁组织是积存植物特殊后含物,如淀粉粒、蛋白质颗 粒、拟晶体、脂肪球、油滴以及其他有机物质等的一种组织。主要 分布在根、根茎、种子和果实等器官中。
