By using infrared technology, this thermometer can read the surface temperature of various materials up close or from a distance. To use, aim at the surface, pull the trigger, and read the temperature on the large, backlit LCD display, selecting either °F or °C. Safely measure hot, hazardous, or hard-to-reach materials without contaminating or damaging the material’s surface. NIST/DKD certification is available for this unit, call Nasco for details.
